JOB SUMMARY :
Directs and coordinates production efforts through subcontractor and company supervisory personnel. Ensures production schedule and budget requirements are being met while ensuring quality and safety objectives are never compromised.
Ensure production schedules are being met. Coordinate with supervision and subcontractors to obtain optimum production, by establishing priorities and coordinating efforts between trade. Coordinate with Foreman to ensure material, manpower, and equipment is available to support schedule and project requirements. Assist the Project Manger to ensure all required reports are submitted by trade supervisors or Foreman and subcontractors including conflicts, spec requirements, and as found conditions. May be required to attend meetings with the customer and or the employer to report day to day activities, concerns, conflicts, and progress. Consult with trade supervision and customers to assess technical conflicts and provide recommendations for resolution. Responsible for the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of department staff. The Superintendent will also perform other duties as assigned. This position will also assure organizational compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental, state, local and federal regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or other engineering fields preferred; or three to five years related marine, shipyard or industrial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Must have Microsoft Office Software experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Project a plus
