Quality Assurance

ECR maintains planned and systematic processes that ensure safety, quality, and productivity in every facet of our workmanship

Our Quality Management System (QMS) governs how we operate as a marine contractor and guarantees total satisfaction to our customers. Our QMS program is a continuous process of improvement and refinement based upon experience as contract activities progress. Lessons learned are continually incorporated into the planning and execution of activities while processes are modified to ensure that problems’ root causes are identified and eradicated for the process.

The purpose of this QMS is to make certain that products and services delivered to customers by ECR meet the quality and operational standards of our clients and that we receive the information needed to maintain Program improvements. Our Quality Assurance consists of planning, verifications, and the evaluation of Program work products, including the audit of Program processes by individuals independent of the projects being evaluated.

ECR’s Quality Policy is SIMPLE:
  • S - atisfied Customers providing return business due to our
  • I - mproved products and services and the
  • M - easure of Commitment by the company to meeting or exceeding all
  • P - erformance Requirements of our customers and the
  • L - eadership to provide continuous
  • E - volutions of Improvements within the company.

Our Quality Management System evaluates both the Program products to make certain they meet quality requirements (Quality Control) and the Program processes used to create these products (Quality Assurance) to make certain they are done in accordance with Program plans, our policies, and procedures. The Quality Management System is not just inspecting for defects in completed work products and deliverables but is also managing processes and engineering for implementing continuous improvements.

Quality processes are integrated at the corporate and program level to ensure the inherent strengths of all the partner companies are leveraged to the success of this mission. Our Quality Management System is fully integrated with our management approach. We have also implemented procedures for Coatings, Welding, and Nondestructive Testing (NDT).
